How many electrons does it take to remember everything on your hard disk? Theoretically speaking, only ONE, according to scientists .Although the theoretical storage capacity of a single electron is considered phenomenal, encoding and retrieving the information using the technology that is available today is a major challenge.Professor Bucksbaum's team from University of Michigan was the first to demonstrate experimentally, on a small scale, that the information can be phase-encoded in the fundamental wave oscillations of an electron. [Science, 287, 463 and Science, 289, 1431a - published in January and July 2000 respectively. ]Can actually what mainstream science today posits as " the uncertainty principle " in a particle , the evidence of a continuous INFORMATION TRANSFER between electrons ? Is the Universe a gigantic Electronic INFORMATION Processor - The Universal Mind ?
Professor Bucksbaum research confirms that the information storage at quantum level is temporary. Hence, to maintain the " electronic memory " , a continuous " copying or imprinting " of the information has to take place. Is such an information exchange around our body, the main function of electric currents in the brain and the nervous system ?
Is the coherence of this information transfer a feature that makes us and other organisms alive and healthy ?The pioneer in brain surgery, Prof W.G.Penfield, after a lifetime of research insisted that the origin of human consciousness is definitely NOT anywhere in the brain. ? Is our own consciousness and memory encoded in electrons at quantum level?Professor Bucksbaum and his team used to store and retrieve the information at a quantum level - they used Light of specific COLOURS!! (Technically speaking they used very short laser pulses composed from certain wavelengths of light.)
